Move in Procedures
We are pleased your company has decided to become a tenant at the Manchester Financial Centre @ 2550 Fifth Avenue building. Undoubtedly, you have many questions about your upcoming move; therefore, we have taken the liberty of providing you with information pertaining to the move-in process at the Manchester Financial Centre @ 2550 Fifth Avenue building. For more information, please contact the Management Office.
Move In Hours and Insurance
Please schedule your move with the Management Office as we need to coordinate between Mister A’s restaurant hours. We require a certificate of insurance from your moving company that meets our requirements. This certificate must be on file in the Management Office PRIOR TO YOUR MOVE-IN DATE.
Move In Date Notice
Please inform the Management Office of your move in date. If the move in date should change, please notify our office as soon as possible. The Management Team makes many preparations for your move and wants to assure that everything is ready on the right day, with no scheduling conflicts with other tenants.
Moving Vans
Moving vans are required to park in the loading zone on Laurel at 4th Avenue and use the valet garage entrance for loading and unloading. Transport is through the middle elevator as we do not have a freight elevator. The building engineers or security will assist with padding the elevator to protect it from damage. Garage clearance is 6’8” for both the Maple Street and the Fourth Avenue garage entrances.
Oversized Items
If you have furniture or equipment that is too large to fit inside the elevator, please advise us of this requirement so that special arrangements can be made. The building will pass on any additional cost for special arrangements to the tenant.
Building and Suite Protection
Your moving company must provide the following protection for the building and the entrances to your suite:
- Protect the exterior and interior of the building.
- All stone throughout the building, including, but not limited to elevator lobbies’ and flooring. Must use rubber tires, non-marking dollies only, and no pallet jacks. The first floor lobby floor must be protected with ply wood or runners, if applicable.
- Doors and doorframes.
- Elevator surrounds.
- Wood paneling in the interior of the elevator cabs.
